It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

I finally decided the easiest way to get my grubby paws on the second volume of the AllSpark Almanac was to order it through the Barnes & Noble across the street.  They told me it should be in before week's end, so hopefully I'll be getting a notification email either later today or tomorrow let me know that I can go pick it up.  This way I wouldn't have to pay for shipping, I'd know for sure it would be there for purchase and that B&N is only a five minute drive away.  So, that problem mostly solved.

I signed up for a Pixiv account a little while back so I could keep track of all the talented Japanese artists doing fan art for the series I like.  Mostly Transformers in its various incarnations, but also some Gundam, Slayers, Trigun, Code Geass, Mega Man, etc.  The first week or so I had the account, I think I dropped about ten or so hours just digging around, playing with tag links and hopping pages.  For some people, Youtube is a massive time killer.  For me, it's Pixiv.  I'm debating uploading a few of my better pieces over there just so my own account isn't standing empty and pathetic looking.  Especially now that I have a translation script running to make site navigation easier.

I need to decide what I'm going to do about the Oklahoma State Fair this year.  I think I'll be entering a couple of the better photos I took while in Portland, Oregon to the photo contest.  But I have no clue yet as to what I'll enter, art-wise.  I'll probably just have to sit down at some point and spill sketches all over blank paper to see if anything useful comes up.

Commissions.  Still thinking about doing them here and if I do, I could start the call for them as soon as the weekend after next.  I'm cranking away on colors right now for a trade, so I don't want to take anything new until that's done.

And on commissions being offered by someone else...

is having a tough time of things right now financially and is making an open call for digitally drawn and colored commissions. These are not expensive pieces he's offering, so if you have some spare cash and a PayPal account, you'd be wise to check his latest blog entry to see what he's offering. The guy does some great work, so click his icon there and see what's up.

I do lose time now and then hopping around Wikipedia as well. Or on the TF Wiki. I'd say cruising around online is why I never get much done, but this time of morning? My brain is almost too fried for writing or art. Ah well. It's entertainment.

There are a ton of talented TF fan artists there. It's definitely worth registering just to have a look around. If you do a search on Google for "pixiv tutorial", you should be able to find something that will help you through registration if you're like me and don't know Japanese. The script I downloaded for Firefox was also helpful.

As for commissions, what I'm going to do is sketch commissions, I think. Probably $10 ones to start. What I'm planning on doing is running it first come, first serve in terms of who comments for the slots. That's what it's looking like right now, anyway. I'll probably post more on that this weekend at some point when I've had some sleep and my brain's not all fuzzy.
