Remember the Beast Wars version of Ratchet? Remember the bat femme?

They are sweet on each other. Oh YES, they are...

Over on TFBlogs some months back, an invention of Skids' combined with an accident prone Decepticon with an improbability drive built into his shell caused reality to come apart at the seams. Many of the Generation 1 mechs were altered, taking on beast modes, taking on advanced Force Chip capable forms... And visitors began to arrive from parallel universes...Galaxy Force, Beast Wars, Superlink and so on.

Ratchet, transformed into a Maximal Spirit Bear, found himself faced with a rather pushy femme who could not remember her name or much of anything about her past. The Cybertrons told him her name was Chromia, that she was a Destron, that she was dangerous. Rhinox named the femme Delphia, seeing as how the name "Chromia" was already in use in the Gen1 world. And regardless of the apparent danger involved, Ratchet and Delphia helped to pick one another back up in the middle of all the madness, while reality and even the stability of time itself was in flux... And when Nitro Convoy and Live Convoy discovered during a vision Matrix quest that Delphia's life would end if she returned to her own parallel world, a world different from even the one the other Cybertrons and Destrons had originated from, Ratchet subjected Delphia to the conversion chambers built by himself, Rhinox, and the newly reformatted Pretenders, Chainclaw and Catilla. The chambers were the start of Pretender tech and they transformed Delphia into an Autobot, allowing her to remain safe in the new world she was starting to recognize as home.

The part of Ratchet is/was played by myself. The part of Delphia is/was played by my fiancé, ~KoH4711.

Early Happy Valentines Day, love. And Happy Valentines to the rest of you, too. ^_^

EDIT: If anyone would like to read a bit of fic about these two, ~KoH4711 actually wrote up a Valentine's gift for me about them and posted the story here - [link] - on an LJ Transformers fic comm. You don't need to be a member of the comm to see the post. Enjoy! I know I did. :D

Q: How many Transformers fans does it take to change a light bulb?

A: Eight. One to change it, and the rest to complain that the light bulb was so much better back in the 80s.

I support well-written, in-character fanfic!

Very impressive. I like the attention you paid to details. A little cleaning (some inking wouldn't hurt) and it will be mind blowin'! ^^

I do want to clean it up, though I'm not sure whether to go all digital, or print this and work it on my light table. I did the entire thing using a WACOM tablet and Painter Classic, so I could go either way, really.

It's actually been pretty quiet over there as of late... For a while, we were running it like a full fledged play-by-post RPG with as much insanity as we could cram into it, but when my former roommate, ~shiribot, went back to New York to deal with some family stuff, we took it back down to its roots again... Mostly just treating it like a bunch of giant robots who have Livejournals. The whole thing did begin with mock flamewars between the characters. Prime, for example, had a tendency to want to call Shockwave "fat" all the time. ^^; It was and still is very tongue in cheek, with some pretty whacky characterization rearing its head more than once in a while. (Lately, I've had trouble posting over there for lack of inspiration and not a lot of time to devote to absolutely everything I want to do. But if you want to take a look at things, here's a link. [link] Check the user info for details.)
