...and here's the finished product. First time I've ever taken a TF drawing from sketch all the way to finished color...and it didn't turn out half bad. O_o Special thanks to Citizen-Cybertron for encouraging me to do something with the original sketch, which is in Scraps. (The ref screenshot I used for the drawing is also linked from that upload.)
Anyway...much love for Ratchet. Snarky, yet caring guy that he is. *fangirls*

As far as I know, there have been no reported cases of cranial explosions due to the acquisition of knowledge. Kyoya from Cupid is a Great Many Things by AJ Rayne I think my mental self just fell out of her chair due to shock....
Ha ha, I see you took a certain someone's advice, and WOW - how well did it turn out!! See, I told you to believe in your own abilities; just look at what you've achieved. And you were going to leave this as a simple pencil sketch...
Your inking in this instance is well handled, defining the form sufficiently without being too overpowering. Working with the decidedly monotone palette on offer with this character, you have succeeded to flesh out Ratchet's physique and demeanour with deft skill. Highlights and shadowing appear suitably metallic, and I love those eyes! Using the gradient purple as a backdrop was also a good choice.
This is a great picture, Straya, and one I notice you've seen fit to even use as your current avatar even! Very cool. I'll be saving this one to my hard-drive (provided you don't mind, of course...). With this as evidence of your brimming talent, please continue to bring us Deviant Transfans plenty more images from Cybertron. Bravo!
That has got to be the coolest pics I have ever seen of Ratch! Wonderfully colored and dannnng you are good! Fav+! It's just...wow. Can't think of any better words at the moment...

Awww, Ratchet!! I adore him, in all his surly gruffness! I love the look on his face in this, as though he's seen something yet again that just gets under his skin. Ratchet is such a great character, with such a load to bear, really...but I'll stop now before I go on and on.
Just something about the look on his face, I really like. Wonderful job coloring, too. Love it.
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

good guys, bad guys, and explosions as far as the eye can see!
