Another "sick in bed" doodle that turned out pretty good. I had almost no references for Daxter at all, so that's why I fubar'ed on his hind legs, which I think are actually supposed to have knees like those of a normal biped. I also chose to draw Jak as he appears in Jak II, simply because that's my favorite incarnation of the character (must be the long mane of hair).
Wow, Jak and Dax fanart. I honestly don't remember what Daxter's hind legs look like either, but they look fine here. Excellent fanart, instantly recognizeable as those two.
Jak II was hard! And fun. But hard!

Been thinking of adding color, actually...maybe some cel style shading. Part of me wants to finish it off that way and submit to a gaming mag or something. I dunno. We'll see, depending on how much time I have over the next few weeks.
I work at a video game store and we're allowed to check things out to "increase our knowledge of the product" and as Jak 3 just came out, I kept seeing all the great reviews and figured I may as well look into the series. Checked the first game out last week and finished it in four days...had nothing better to do because I've been so sick. Anyway, the game completely sucked me in and now I'm dying to get my hands on Jak II and Jak 3 (played the demo for that one, which was awesome).
So if my little obsession keeps up, I may yet draw more Jak & Dax fan art and put it up here.
I also keep hearing the Ratchet & Clank games are good (and that they're kind of the rival series to Jak & Daxter), so I may try those out eventually, too.
Nice job! I like how badass they look drawn in a more American-comic style.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
